Who we are

Who we are

Who we are

We are Peak Humanity

We build the infrastructure that allows children and communities to thrive.

Classrooms. Kitchens. Safe learning spaces.

The world is full of stories about hardship and struggle. At Peak Humanity, we believe in a different approach.

We work with communities, not for them. We listen before we build.

And we show people as they truly are,  full of strength, resilience, and potential.

Because real change doesn’t come from charity. It comes from building opportunity together.

  • Henry Kilbane

    Founder & Changemaker

I climbed Kilimanjaro in February 2025, initially unsure of the purpose behind it. During the ascent, I connected with the local guides—especially John Bei—and realized the climb’s true meaning: to make a difference in Tanzania and beyond.

That encounter sparked the creation of Peak Humanity. Upon returning home, I rallied my community to fund our first school project, raising nearly $35,000 in just five days.

My dream is to give children better opportunities, a sense of purpose, and the belief that they can achieve anything. I’ve been fortunate thanks to those who believed in me, and I’m committed to paying that forward for the rest of my life.

  • Lilia Angelicheva

    Social Media and Marketing Manager

Hi :) I’m Lilia, originally from Bulgaria.

In 2021, I moved to the Netherlands to study Creative Business and later spent six months in Japan, exploring its language and culture. Afterward, I traveled solo across Southeast Asia — a life-changing experience that opened my eyes to the realities many people face and made me reflect on privilege, gratitude, and purpose.

Through Peak Humanity, I turn that reflection into action, using creativity to communicate our mission transparently and meaningfully — inspiring others to use their privilege to create opportunities for those who never had them.

  • Lina Srebrova-Wilson

    Operations and Fundraising Manager

Hi everyone, I’m Lina, and I support the daily operations at Peak Humanity, helping the charity grow sustainably.

My background is in business development, but my passion for social impact started early, organizing school initiatives for disadvantaged children in Bulgaria. Since then, I’ve volunteered with UNICEF on Campus and supported campaigns for children and refugees in the UK, while studying what makes social enterprises truly impactful.

At Peak Humanity, I channel that passion into our mission — creating opportunities for children worldwide to thrive and reach their full potential.

  • John Bei

    School Project Manager

I do this work because I want to make a difference — a purpose shaped by the challenges I faced growing up. I used to travel long distances to school, study in poor classrooms, and often go without proper meals. Those experiences built my resilience and drive to help others facing similar struggles.

My inspiration came from Denis, who involved me in community aid work across Tanzania since 2018. After his passing in 2021, I lost that guiding force — until I met Henry and Peak Humanity, whose impact reignited my passion to serve.

Today, with the support and encouragement of Elisha, our Stove Technician from Arusha, I continue striving to create meaningful change for the communities we serve.

  • Víctor Pardo

    Design and Web Development

Hi, I’m Víctor — a designer from Spain focused on shaping the visual identity and digital presence of Peak Humanity.

What inspires me most about this project is its honesty — the way it listens, collaborates, and builds with communities.

I see design as a way to support that mission: turning ideas into visuals that feel clear, grounded, and human.

For me, being part of Peak Humanity means using design with intention — to communicate hope and purpose in the simplest, most genuine way possible.

  • Elisha Philmoni Nnko

    Stove Project Coordinator

My journey began in 2004, when I was a teenager living with my mother and younger brother. After my brother burned his hand while cooking on a traditional stone oven, I became determined to make cooking safer for families like ours — a mission that led me to design improved stoves.

Later, a group from Rome visited our church to teach about clean, eco-friendly stove designs, showing me how such simple innovations could protect both people and the planet.

Life wasn’t easy — my father left, and my mother worked tirelessly to raise us — but those challenges gave me strength and purpose. Today, through Peak Humanity, I’m proud to help families live safer, healthier lives and to prove that every challenge happens for a reason.
