Founder's story
After surviving a serious motorcycle accident that nearly cost me my life, I was forced to slow down and rethink how I was spending my time.
Until then, my life had been centered around poker, where I had spent years as a player, commentator, and broadcaster within an incredible global community.
The accident made me reflect more deeply on the kind of impact I wanted to have. Soon after, I traveled to Tanzania to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, and through conversations with my guide John I learned about the challenges many local schools face, from the lack of kitchens to proper classrooms and basic infrastructure. I realized the problem wasn’t potential, but resources.
That realization led me to create Peak Humanity, an initiative that brings people together to build essential infrastructure for schools and help create real opportunities for children and their communities.
